Married And An Extra Marital Affair |

So how often have we thought about having an extramarital affair? Especially when you are in a relationship that doesn’t give you what you deserve, the respect that you deserve, the affection that you long for, a caring partner just to tuck that wild strand of hair in place.

Marriage was a big dream for that girl I knew. She was so young when she agreed to get married. Nobody knew that she was getting married so early was because she was rejected by a boy whom she so dearly loved. When he didn’t accept her, it broke her fragile little heart. She stuck up all her broken pieces of her heart with cellophane tape. And there she was ready to move on in life with a tattered heart.

Soon she was married off, to a guy who she believed would be the end of all her rejections and mental torment of being unwanted. Just after marriage did she realize that he wasn’t here to wash away her sorrows but to create a new set of sorrow for this already broken butterfly and her tattered wings. She was secondary to him, she was just a wife with no significance. Loneliness crept into her life as he kept traveling for work and when she was home, he was away with his friends to enjoy.

Just as she was headed down a steep path of regret and depression, she met a sweet and caring man. He was a nobody, maybe just a colleague at work. They always exchanged looks. Neither smiled at the other, but their eyes caught each other’s look every time they passed the hallways. Finally, a mutual friend introduced them to each other and soon a friendship blossomed between them.

Two lonely souls, looking for solace met amongst a company of people, just for their heart to reach out to each other. Soon they were sharing coffee breaks and lots of talks. They realized that they were sailing on the same boat. He was married just like her, but his relationship was strained just like hers. No wonder they found each other amidst the chaos over coffee. They became the solace, to each other. They became dear friends and they believed a friendship had blossomed over between them.

Soon enough coffee breaks become a private affair, a stolen kiss along the stairs of the terrace. They never missed a chance to smile, to hold hands behind their backs. And one thing led to other, they started meeting each other in the privacy of their homes. Lust overtook every carnal instinct, satisfying each other was a pleasure. All for the lost time and the loneliness, they took advantage of each other's company. But just as pleasure comes with a price to pay, guilt walks in. With guilt taking a toll, she walked out on him.

Soon enough, he walked out of that office and so did she after a few months. Never have they seen each other again, never have they talked again. Guilty as charged but no guilt can ever make them forget each other because they were there for each other. They sought one another’s company and being adults they respected each other and bid adieu.

This is her story of an extramarital affair. To her, it wasn’t just an extramarital affair. He made her feel wanted and sexy again. She felt alive and young with him. Maybe he was her coping mechanism. Maybe she survived because of that relationship. Maybes never end, after all, it's her story and who are we to judge!

Every man needs to go the extra mile to make his wife comfortable and feel loved. She left her life to join yours and that deserves a bit of appreciation. If you don’t love that woman then Please don’t marry her. She will find love elsewhere.
